Oneighty

Oneighty is the youth ministry of Heart of the Bay Christian Center. It is an exciting ministry that reaches out to youth ages 12 to 18.

Oneighty is about real life – the hard questions facing youth today. The decisions they have to make every day – the importance of good friends. If you are a teen, you know the pressure you’re under to “follow the crowd.” We see a method of reaching teenagers who love God, but may not like “church.” It is the plan of Oneighty to help teenagers follow Christ by showing them how to practically apply God’s Word for their own life and to be an example of His love so they in turn can affect and help change the lives of others. We see a movement of teenagers who will not just sit back and watch their world be lost.

At Oneighty you will find Christian friends who share your values and your struggles, friends you can just be yourself around and not have to put on a front or pretend to be cool. This is a place where being a Christian doesn’t mean you can’t have a good time!

Ground Zero

Are you a Jr. Higher in the 7th or 8th grade? If you are, then Ground Zero is just for you. We get together once a week at 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings to talk about the things you face in your life every day. Through games, skits and Bible study you will learn that God’s Word has great examples for you to follow as you begin your teen years. Welcome to Ground Zero; where it all begins.

Friday Nights @ 180 and Other Events

Keep your eyes and ears out every month for our Friday Nights @ Oneighty! This time of teaching and fellowship includes live worship music from our very own Youth worship band. We participate in outreach, mission trips, evangelism and many activities throughout the year.
