Brenda Thomas Ministries

"My passion is to see believers walk in and enjoy the abundant life Jesus came to give us.  '… I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).' (John 10:10)" - Brenda Thomas

Who is Brenda Thomas?

Brenda – the very root meaning of her name means enthusiastic and fiery one.  She definitely lives up to her name! Her hilarious sense of humor, passion for the Lord and boldness are all evident as she ministers.

Brenda has been an ordained minister for over 30 years.  Her unique giftings have made her a popular speaker at conferences and meetings throughout the United States and other nations.  There is a depth and richness as she ministers that comes from her years in full-time ministry.  She is especially anointed to minister on the subject of joy and living the spirit-filled life.  The burning passion that is evident as she ministers ignites the hearts of the hearers and stirs them to action.

Brenda’s life experiences range from growing up on a farm in rural Oklahoma to pastoring alongside her husband, Mark, in Minnesota and California.  Since 1982, they have pastored Heart of the Bay Christian Center, a thriving church in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Mark and Brenda are the proud parents of two sons, John and James, along with their beautiful wives, Lindy and Esther.  They also have a found joy in their precious granddaughters, Olivia, Lucy and Eden.

Pastor Brenda ministers weekly at her home church, Heart of the Bay Christian Center on Sunday Evenings and during the week at Ladies Prayer.

Making the Most of Your Meltdowns

“I Can’t Handle Any More!”

Maybe you’ve said that, or at least thought it. Sometimes life gets too hot, pushes us too hard, and we have a meltdown. Maybe we’ve done something foolish, or perhaps circumstances have overwhelmed us for no apparent reason. Whatever the cause, when we find ourselves staring at a mess, we need to remember that God’s love and mercy are always greater than whatever we’re facing. He loves us more than we know, and He can turn every situation around for good.

In Making the Most of Your Meltdowns, Brenda Thomas reminds us that if we will rejoice, even in the midst of disaster, the joy we release will attract the restoration we are crying out for. We can trust our good God to help us, because He always keeps His Word.
